Ordering Prescriptions has Changed

As of 1st March 2022, the way that you order your repeat prescriptions has changed. We are asking our patients to manage their own repeat prescription requests, rather than having a third party (for example a pharmacy or online company) order on their behalf. This change is being phased in across all GP surgeries in the region in order to reduce the number of wasted medications.

We are asking patients to order their prescriptions instead by using online services such as the myGP app, Patient Access or the NHS app. You may need to contact the practice in order to sign up for this service. 

You can also hand in a paper copy of your repeat prescription at one of our sites.

Please note that as of Thursday 3rd March 2022, you will no longer be able to order prescriptions via Online Consult.

Some patients may still require assistance with ordering their repeat prescriptions, and in these cases the pharmacy may carry on ordering on the patient’s behalf. Please speak to a member of staff or contact your pharmacy to discuss this.
