Important changes to car parking at Rosebank

Posted on:

Following an increase in unauthorised parking at Rosebank Surgery, we are introducing an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system to help keep some parking available for patients so they can park safely.

We recognise that availability of parking at Rosebank can be difficult, and this change will help to ensure the car park remains for the use of those accessing our services rather than third parties.

The new system, which is non-profit making for the Practice, is being installed over the coming weeks and is planned to go live on Thursday 18 May, allowing time for patients and staff to familiarise themselves with the new arrangements.

From Thursday 18 May, patients that have parked in the car park are required to provide the registration number of their vehicle upon arrival at reception to prevent being fined.

Patients visiting Rowlands Pharmacy will also be required to provide their vehicle registration number to the pharmacy if parked in the car park.

Drop offs and pickups will be granted a minimum grace period and those with a blue badge still need to provide their registration number when using the car park. Patients are reminded that parking at Ashton Community Care Centre is for their staff and patients only.

Patients can be assured that signage will be in place to remind them what they need to do and our staff are on hand to answer any queries.

There are no changes to parking arrangements at other Lancaster Medical Practice sites.
