We have now introduced a new way to get in contact with the practice online: Patchs.
You can contact us online for medical purposes to request help and advice for any symptoms you are having, or administrative purposes to request documentation, such as a medical report or fit note. Some patients find this method of contact more convenient than telephoning or visiting the practice.
The online system has been designed to make it easier for you to contact the practice online and save you time. Instead of choosing and populating a specific online form, you will only have to answer a few simple free text questions covering the details of your request. We will then contact you to discuss the most appropriate next steps.
In order to use Patchs to contact us online, you will need to sign up and make an account. Sign up is a simple and quick process and means that any online forms that you complete going forward will be added to your medical record. You may be aware that Patchs also provides our email and text messaging service, and creation of an account means you can view all text, email and online communications with us in one place.
It’s important to be aware, however, that Patchs does not allow you to book into an appointment directly. Instead, if general practice is the most appropriate option for you, we will be notified and one of our team will give you a call to discuss next steps.
