Upcoming temporary closure of Galgate Health Centre

In order to allow essential maintenance work to take place safely, Galgate Health Centre will be closed to patients all day on Thursday 27 November.

Appointments will not be available at Galgate and will be offered at alternative sites nearby.

Patients will still be able to drop prescription slips off at Galgate in the post box located on the wall at the front of the surgery.

However, we are unable to accept samples at Galgate on that day and we request that patients take them to an alternative site. The nearest alternative site is University Health Centre.

We encourage patients to contact us online via Patchs or by phone (01524 238150) to make requests, instead of visiting reception at Galgate. Patients are also welcome to visit reception at an alternative site if they need help on this date, or visit Galgate in the days leading up to the closure instead, or when we reopen on Friday 28 November.

We appreciate this may cause some temporary inconvenience for patients. We do not take decisions to close our sites unless it is absolutely necessary, and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
