Temporary disruption to disabled parking at King Street

Posted on:

Third party building work to the rear of King Street may cause some occasional disruption to patient disabled parking over the coming weeks.

Lancaster City Council has advised that building work is planned to take place imminently on a property to the rear of our King Street surgery and during this time, the building company will be taking occasional deliveries on the cobbled area off Middle Street. This may temporarily block vehicles that are parked in, or wishing to park in, the disabled parking spaces at the rear of King Street.

Patients are advised that they may encounter some delay when leaving or accessing our disabled spaces if a delivery is taking place. Vehicles may need to wait until a delivery has been completed, which could take up to twenty minutes.

The disabled car parking spaces at King Street remain available for use for the duration of the building work and pedestrian access to the rear of the building is unaffected.

Should patients encounter any issues with parking, please contact our Estates team on 01524 584728.

We apologise for any inconvenience. Thank you for your cooperation.
