IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR LMP PATIENTS ON BLOOD TESTS

Due to a national shortage of supplies in some blood collection bottles, NHS England have asked that all GP practices must postpone blood tests in primary care until Friday 17th September 2021, unless the blood tests are clinically urgent.

During this period, our clinicians will be reviewing all blood tests requested to see which can be safely delayed. We will be contacting patients to cancel appointments where necessary. We will advise patients when their blood tests can be rescheduled once we receive further information from NHS England.
