Repeat Prescription Turnaround Times – Important Information for Patients - Please click here for more details

Changes to the way you order and collect repeat prescriptions

From Friday 12th July 2019 you will no longer be able to order your repeat medication on the prescription telephone line. When prescriptions are requested over the phone, mistakes are more likely due to either confusion with drug name pronunciation, or errors made when interpreting the verbal request.  Further information can be found in the Spring Newsletter.

 

Repeat Prescription Turnaround Times – Important Information for Patients

Due to an exceptionally busy period and an increased workload we are asking for FOUR full working days to process your repeat prescription requests.

Using the MyGP App to order your medication and ensuring you nominate a pharmacy for your prescription to be sent electronically does speed up the process for you.

We hope these measures will help. Thank you for your understanding and please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
